What will it be?

Realistic art and Art as alteration is different from each other. In the aspect of the way they were created and in the way how they were being interpreted. Realistic art is a hard thing to do, because if I will be instructed to create realistic art especially human figures in a realistic way, it will be a big pain in my head. While on the other hand, art as alteration is the way how the artist interpret a certain subject which was most of the time is unrealistic. Uncommon figures, exaggerated portions and fantasy images or beyond reality interpretations simply explains and describes art as alteration. At the same time, it will be easier for an artist to create such thing compared to that Realistic art which conveys things that literally how they appear on the human’s vision. And I have read that, in general, realists render everyday characters, situations, dilemmas, and objects, all in a "true-to-life" manner. Realists tend to discard theatrical drama, lofty subjects and classical forms of art in favor of commonplace themes. How about the definition for art as alteration? ---well, images that appear in a different manner simply explain how it really looks like.

I’m only able to draw common illustrations, because the way I make them is quite simple than the other people that I know who are also fond of art. Art gives color to the human eye and art can be seen almost everywhere. Art is not just about the pleasant appearance but it is also about the value given by the artist just to create such work. At this moment, I’m still confused whether my artwork is more of realistic, impressionist or even distorted. During my spare time, I draw anime which is not realistic, so I think I am not an artist who practices realism, but of course sometimes I try drawing stuff that is real. Can I be considered as an artist who creates distorted art? Hmm--- this is really confusing but I think I will prefer art as alteration above all, because with it, I can freely create my own illustration with my ideas and perceptions about it. But of course I also want to be a realistic artist one day who can create realistic strokes, proper shading and line combinations.I talk less, I am quiet most of the time, so sometimes when I am alone or don’t feel to talk with someone, I get a paper and a pen and draw things. But it annoys me every time I want to draw something but I can’t, simply because I really don’t know how.

Artists are humans, who have emotions and perceptions, which also have freedom to do what he wanted to do as long as he never hurt anybody. Artists interpret their feelings through their paintings, sculptures or even architectures. But everything and everybody is able to change, if a certain person shifted his belief from one to another, one should accept it. I have learned that way back then; there are some artists who shifted from a realistic artist to an abstract expressionist due to his experiences in life. For now, I’ll continue searching for my own craft, because I know that I still lack knowledge about art and how to appreciate it well. Whether it is a realistic art, Art as alteration or distorted art, it doesn’t really matters because all I know, what I’m doing is an art, and what I am about to do is to go deeper through art.

"ooh---my art"

Art- It is a creation out of images and illustrations. It is something which is beyond the imagination of an artist. But art is not only about the visual art itself, but is also in music, dance and film. I am not a professional artist but I love creating artworks through my imagination. I used to create my own characters and even my own comic books back in my elementary and even in my high school days. I even competed in some contests in my school where simply knowing art makes a huge difference. Impromptu art- From the word "impromptu" I think it has something to do with making art on the spot. something that was made with less readiness, enough skills and ideas in order to cope up with a certain artwork. Creating art with no preparations like complete materials or even a bit of idea about the theme of your artwork is very hard to succeed into. Readiness is also a virtue, it is a strength of oneself.

Creating an impromptu art is a challenge for everyone. Why? because, sometimes it's hard for people to create something perfectly without enough preparations given for it, but on the other hand, creating an impromptu art is also a God-given talent. We all know that not all humans were blessed with a wide imagination and a flexible mind to be called artistic. There are people who can sing but cannot draw, while there are also people who cannot sing but can draw. People may experience creating impromptu art during class or working hours. Students like me, usually encounters this moment during art class. I think I already experienced creating an impromptu art, I think it happens every time my teacher instructed us to create illustration about a certain topic on the spot. I used to be a journalist, a feature writer but I was once placed as an editorial cartoonist and a comic strip illustrator for our school paper when I was in high school. As I have remembered, my co- journalist told me to illustrate and create a comic strip which is about anything that usually happens in school, and as I started sliding my pencil on a piece of paper, my imagination widen and I was already creating an impromptu art.
Creativity--- every one has it but with different levels. Artist--- anyone can be an artist if he desires and aims for it. Art--- it can be seen everywhere, one should value and appreciate everything that surrounds him, because most things that surrounds him came from art. Impromptu art--- a work of art created without enough preparations but then, the result is still good and even perfect. Creating one gives so much pleasure, because simply seeing the result gives a relief in the viewer specially if the viewer is the creator of it. It's nice to create things specially with full effort and heart, because even when you're not well prepared, if you really love whatever you're doing, you can handle things swiftly and you can finally say that "ooh---my art".

ART--->

                                                             "Nothing but ART"

“Art” has different meanings, and sometimes art explains itself. For me, life is boring without art, because art serves as an inspiration to everyone that anyone can do all things happen with great patience in improving himself. There’s no artist who began perfectly, each of them started as a beginner, who keeps on acquiring more knowledge as time goes by. But when does art occur? Where does it happen first? – Art has different eras or periods. Just like other things that happened in our history, art is changing, it is developing. I am not the kind of person who appreciates ancient or even classical art that much, but art began from that period and the modern art that we have right now is the end product of the ancient ones. All of the periods of art history are perfect, even the way it prospers, but I think Renaissance period is the best, because it was known for its flowering in terms of art, this was also the time when great artists like Da Vinci, Sanzio and Michelangelo created their titles. I also think that the other artists acquired most of their concepts of art from this period because there are lots of ideas that an artist can get from it. Besides, Renaissance is what we also called “rebirth”. From that, the Vitruvian man was also created.

Art changes because of the influence of the past periods. The 3 art civilizations can explain that. Of course we all know that art began from the simple illustrations created by the cavemen, which in the latter was improved by the other artists. But the 3 civilizations which are: Egyptians, Greek, and Romans improved their art by time. Egyptians had their art in their pyramids, while the Greek and Romans which are just alike had their sense of art created about their explorations and architectures. It is hard to choose from the different eras what is the most influential among them all, because I think all of them influenced each other to improve. But if I really have to choose, I think the most influential era was the Classical arts. Why? -- Because this was the time when art and architecture served the needs of the state. It was also noted for its strong sense of form, balance and proportions which helped a lot in doing arts and architectures. This was also the moment when human-like art pops up on the scene for its ideals in human forms.

Appreciation-- that is what art needs. There is lots of art, it can even be seen anywhere. People just have to be open-minded all the time to appreciate those things. Art is not all about the paintings, sculptures or architectures that was perfectly created years of years ago, but it was about the heart of the artist while he was doing his work, the happiness that he had experienced in order to
quench his thirst in art and the patience that he spent just to fulfill his passion. Anybody can be an artist, as long as you have the heart on whatever you were doing, it is not impossible to be one. Creativity and imagination, that does it. There’s no such thing as perfect, even the greatest people who used to live way back then. Even the popular artworks that were still known even in the present have their impurities. Erasures, errors or mistakes, it doesn’t matter at all, because all that matters is the final product. It is the product which we called the “Works of Art”.

WEEK 1: Behind Mona Lisa's Smile

Who is Mona Lisa?

Mona Lisa, a mysterious lady behind the artwork of Leonardo Da Vinci, with my bare knowledge about it, i can't see its real meaning, because all i can see with my naked eye is an ordinary face of a woman wearing a soft smile on her face and showing a mysterious look on it's viewer. I have heard about that particular painting years ago, maybe since I was in my elementary days, I already heard that a certain painting was called "Mona Lisa" but despite of being familiar with it, I never imagined that it has a very mysterious meaning, that at this very moment I am looking and searching for its real essence. But "Who is Mona Lisa?", was she a lover of Leonardo or she was only part of his imagination? or was there any particular reason why Da Vinci painted her? As time goes by, my idea about that particular painting gets wider and my question about the true identity of Mona Lisa gets its answer. According to the article that I have read, Mona Lisa is a portrait of a woman named Lisa Gherardini, the wife of Francesco del Giocondo. it was said that it was painted between 1503 and 1506. Years ago, I was only playing a certain video game about "Da Vinci Code" and Mona Lisa was featured on it to solve a mystery. Now i have to discover it myself in reality by searching, scrolling down and up and clicking.

Now that we already know who is the woman behind Mona Lisa, maybe it is about time to know more about it. I keep on searching, and i found out that its title stems from a description by Georgio Vasari. It became Ma donna which means "my lady" for its contraction for Mona Lisa where Mona was a polite form of address similar to madam. Mona is also a short form for madonna. What else can I say? *scroll down. Knowing a brief history of its name, let us now focus on the whole portrait, from the way how the viewers see it and from how its painter finalized Mona Lisa. I, as an ordinary observer, lack of knowledge about paintings and how to appreciate them, noticed from simply staring on it, that Mona Lisa has no eyebrows. Practically speaking, it is very unusual that a human specially a lady will strike a pose to be painted on a portrait without her eyebrows whether it is real or drawn ones. Was there a reason why Da Vinci painted Mona Lisa without it? or did he simply forgot to put it to her portrait? As I keep on reading different articles about it, I encountered reading a certain page where it was written that, a certain engineer and scientist zoomed in an image of Mona Lisa's left eye revealed a single brush stroke in the eyebrow region, which means that, Leonardo haven't painted Mona Lisa without eyebrows, it was only painted finely that caused our naked eyes to see the portrait without it. Even her fingers, have you noticed that those were not painted accordingly? There were lots of mysteries that lies behind it and some of it were not yet revealed either, but maybe my knowledge about it now is enough. Enough the way that maybe I'll be dreaming of Mona Lisa after posting this blog.

Leonardo Da Vinci's painting, popularly known as the Mona Lisa,  conveys so much mystery and gives lots of meaning. For my own opinion, his painting proves that not all what we see is the way it is used to be. Why? because even one of the greatest artist was once confused in making a certain artwork, separating truth from lies, from his drafts of Mona Lisa, shows that his idea of painting her, was never his plan to appear like that, but it took him very long time to finish it without knowing that his idea changes from time to time, that even the shape of Mona Lisa's eyes and lips differ from the draft itself. What makes Mona Lisa famous is not because of the way it was well painted nor the way it was colored accordingly, but because of the mysteries that made its viewers boost curiosity behind her smile, her eyes and her pose. Just imagine how long it took Da Vinci just to finish such artwork. It needs so much patience, wide span of time and enough skills to fulfill its need to be finished. But who have thought that even an artwork with impurities will be so famous after so many years and even a new generation like me got curious just to know its real mystery that lies behind the smile of a woman painted on it? Before I end this blog entry, I looked at one of the samples of Mona Lisa's portrait from the internet, and I noticed that my point of view the way I see it now differs from the way I have seen it before. How? See for yourself.

WEEK 10: Boost your Creativity

Things to do to enhance creativity

There are lots of ways in order to enhance creativity, but I will only point out 5 ways. I searched Google about it and based on the website which is stated below as my source, there are 10 steps for it but just like what I have said earlier, I will only point the best 5 ways for me. Let’s start with the first one which is: 1. Commit Yourself in Developing Your Creativity, - no one will be able to learn and develop oneself if he never commit himself about it, just like in developing skills about creativity, one should feel the acceptance of having a hard time during this certain stage. Second one: 2.Be willing to Take Risks- yes, enhancing creativity is like having an adventure fun on a mountain slope, why? Because you have to take risks about everything, you have to provide materials and make a large time for this. The next step is related on our second one which is: 3. Make Time for Creativity- You won't be able to develop your creative talents if you don't make time for them. That’s right; in every activity time is very important and inevitable. 4. Overcome Negative Attitudes that Block Creativity- always keep in mind that negative side has always has its positive side, in fact; positive moods can increase your ability to think creatively. So always think positive for the positive result. J And last but of course not the least 5. Fight Your Fear of Failure- nobody’s perfect so all of us are bound to fail at times but this failure just correct us from those mistakes that we had committed in the past, and on the next time that we’ll try to make same thing, it will be better because we will be aware about the do’s and don’ts.

Those five things to do that I point out were just part of many ways that we can all do in order to enhance our creativity, but those 5 caught my attention because I believe that those were very important to keep in mind. I am not that good in creativity and I think I have to follow those steps for my own good. So I hope you guys got my idea about this topic. Again, let’s always think positive for POSITIVE RESULTS. J

WEEK 9: The world of BLOGGING

                   “The World of BLOGGING”

I searched Google about BLOG and it states that: A blog is a discussion or information site published on the Internet typically displayed in reverse chronological order so the most recent post appears first. Until 2009 blogs were usually the work of a single individual, occasionally of a small group, and often were themed on a single subject. I was never been hooked or even got interested on blogging before, but these past few weeks, I was trying to cope up with the world of blogging, I define this as journal because everybody is free to say anything and to express everything through blogs except of the fact that lots of people were able to read it whoever wants to. Now I have this BlogSpot account, where I am trying to cope up with, I think this is just like the other web applications I encountered before, the only difference here is the capacity on expressing myself. Being exposed on blogging is one of the good things that the internet can give.

Honestly when it comes to blogging, I can say that I have lack of knowledge about it, so tonight I tried to search it again on Google and this is what I have found: The personal blog, an ongoing diary or commentary by an individual, is the traditional, most common blog. Personal bloggers usually take pride in their blog posts, even if their blog is never read. Blogs often become more than a way to just communicate; they become a way to reflect on life, or works of art. Blogging can have a sentimental quality. Few personal blogs rise to fame and the mainstream but some personal blogs quickly garner an extensive following. One type of personal blog, referred to as a microblog, is extremely detailed and seeks to capture a moment in time. Some sites, such as Twitter, allow bloggers to share thoughts and feelings instantaneously with friends and family, and are much faster than emailing or writing. (Source: Wikipedia) well, thanks to my source. :D

WEEK 8: Good or Bad?

GOOD or BAD?

“Everything which is too much is BAD” – I wanted to start this blog with that statement, I extremely agree with it, because I experienced it in myself either. Let’s see about this new media which is very dominant these days. A two or three year old toddler can now operate a computer and surf the internet with convenience, that sometimes without even knowing that they’re clicking some websites what’re not suitable for their very young age. Internet affects most of us, or should I say all of us.. because through this so called INTERNET which is considered as the new media delivers every bit of information that we need to know. Basically, as for myself, the effects of internet in my life is more on the positive things, because I usually use this media to conveniently strive on my daily living especially for my studies and communication with others. I started using the internet when I was grade 4 which I used it only for gaming purposes, but now that I’m on my teenage life, I usually use this as a learning tool for my personal needs. I’m searching on Google for my assignments and the things that I wanted to learn, also for YouTube, I often use that website for knowing the chords of the song I wanted to play on guitar, and then on Facebook, of course I use it for its multi purposes; entertainment, communication, and studies.

I don’t have my permanent internet connection in my house so I don’t use it often but I use it only in times of needs. Because I still have to reload my modem to use it and sometimes I felt bad when I have to spend money for loading only, so I usually spent my whole day online or if ever I have spare time just to accommodate and fulfill the load that I had bought for it. All in all, for me INTERNET or this new media helps me a lot despite of the fact that it’s hassle for me sometimes to have it. But I can say that this helps my life because whenever curiosity pops up on my mind, I constantly check it on Google and find out what does it mean. And of course with this media, I can easily communicate with my relatives who’re far from me. The effects may become bad only if the person who uses this media doesn’t know how to handle its proper usage. But for me, 85% of the internet helps me and made me feel a lot better. :D

week 7: It will RAIN

“It Will RAIN”
:D

Raincoat, umbrella, hoodies and sweaters.. perfect outfit that suits our feelings during rainy season. Most of us cancel activities every time rain strikes, especially if it’s done outdoors right? But nowadays there’s still lots of things to do even it’s raining outside. If you’re going to ask me: “What are you doing during rainy season?” … Well, I’m not the kind of person who loves outdoor activities, maybe I like doing some but not often. It’s so hard to get up off for school in the morning on a very cold and freezing temperature, and you’ll prefer staying on your bed and continue sleeping, or just read magazines and comic books, text your friends and daydream. Ha-ha-ha yeah, it’s quite different feeling during rainy season because it was like the gravity above your bed is so strong that you can’t force yourself to stand up and go on with your life. XD recently, class suspensions took place, and most of the students we’re happy and feeling free to do whatever they wanted at home. But what am I doing during that moment? Well.. SLEEPING until 12 noon, very unhealthy right? But of course as I woke up, I ate and ate, then text, draw anything , play guitar, watch TV, talk with my mom and at night, I watched detective Conan marathon, as you can see all of those activities happened just around the corner of my house. :D it just happened that I don’t have anything else to do during rainy season but to stay home.
Of course, there’s still lot of things that we can all do even it is rainy season; it’s either an indoor or outdoor activity, whichever we prefer. But just like what I said, I prefer to stay home and do whatever I come up with. Oh- I forgot one more thing, during our childhood days, it’s so fun going outside and play under the rain with our friends and our siblings, and I think that is the best interactional activity that I want to do. And that’s unique thing that we cannot do during sunny days of course. So, that’s all for nw, and I hope you enjoyed reading my blog for tonight.. let’s just have fun with our life whatever type of season we are in to. Because life is too short, enjoy it, have fun with it and fulfill it. :D happy rainy season guys . <3

“stoplight please?”

                Prrrrrrrrrttttttttttt!!!!  >.<

INTERNET.. What comes to your mind when you hear that word? ---- Convenience, yeah, that’s more on easy way of living when it comes to information collection. Basically, before I learned about this internet, I thought it was only about doing e-mails and attachments for some work related stuff, but as time goes by, and as I got more curious about this so called internet, I realized that it is also about the widespread of information about anything, for just few clicks you’ll know something and you’ll learn anything you want to. Recently, I learned that internet was not made for this type of purpose, but then it became more useful than it was used to be. INTERNET HIGHWAYS or SUPERHIGHWAYS; flashes of lights, speed of transportation and many things linked to each other, that is what my imagination created as I think of high way. So where will we end up if internet and highway combines? Boooom! Literally speaking.. :D

Well, Filipinos are known because of huge number of users of the internet, this is why we can keep a certain topic remain trending on twitter right? We also keep on viewing lots of videos on YouTube during our spare time, remains online until midnight or even morning chatting with someone important to us, and lastly doing homework and research papers with the help of this internet , and everything is so easy now because of it. But .. I’m not saying that I am not favor with the creation of internet, I just want to have a STOPLIGHT right now, stoplight which I can use to control the usage of internet, all of us are free to do and free to learn everything, but isn’t it much better to learn things because you experienced on doing it or by discovering it by yourself? And isn’t it much better to receive a letter written by your loved ones rather than receiving an e-mail sent on your account? I felt guilty with my statement actually, because I know that right now, I am already using the internet with this blog, but what else I can do? XD let’s assume a highway without any stoplight anywhere, chaos may occur and lots of people will be affected, so for an internet SUPERHIGHWAY, it’s hard to go on if no one is controlling us, let yourself be our own stoplight, we should know where to STOP, SLOW DOWN and GO..

week 5: "Where you Belong"

Where you BELONG..
What else can I say about the MMA? Well let me first tell you my first impression about the multi-media arts; we all know that this is all about the world of art for the term itself describe its own meaning, and of course in doing photography and editing too. But as time goes by, I learned how to be comfortable with everyone, just like how a family member comforts another in times of trouble, and the way how your siblings cheer you up every time you’re in need. This blog is not a dramatic poetry but as I keep on typing on the keyboard it seems like my hands have their own mind and have their own freedom to tell whatever they like. The MMA Family is not that big in numeral but every moment that they’re together, it appears like a one big happy family. Hey? Why am I using the term “they’re”? I can say that even though I’m new in this family, I still belong here because this is where I can find myself, and this is where I can see happiness. Am I getting too serious with this? Ha-ha-ha anyway let’s keep rolling.
We held our general MMA assembly last Thursday ( July 19,2012 ) it was fun to meet them and to be able to know them better, yes, they’re a bit older than us but it was like we’re just one. One in passion and one in dreams, and I can say that most of them were talented and I’ll admit it I only have  ¼ of their talent, but this is not about the competition, this is about the unity of a family, unity on having fun and unity on making things go right. I only spent almost more than a month of my life with the MMA and I’m starting to feel that I am belong, even though I am not as jolly type of person as the other, I still enjoy on seeing that everyone is having fun with every moment we shared. Now I have my 2nd family next to my loving and biological family. And I want to know them more and I want to rise up and feel free to say that.. ” on MMA family: This is where I truly belong”

week 4: All for One! One for All! :)

"All for One! One for All!! :)  "

So what’s up? Here I go again writing my BlogSpot entry for this week, well, I’m starting to enjoy this weekly homework. Doing blog is not really my thing but through this, I am free to express myself that it was hard for me to express most of the time. But of course I am very sorry if I will be wrong in my grammar sometimes, I’m not that good on creating thoughts through words. I just hope I can entertain you for a moment that you’ll be able to read this fro top to bottom. But here I go. J

So what’s our topic tonight? Hum, so it’s TEAMWORK. J Teamwork is a self-explanatory type of word; it’s all about working with the team, that does it. Ha-ha. Yeah we all know that we have our currently processing 5 minute video about the history and evolution of communication, so I think this is why our dear professor Ms. Kagaoan gave us this kind of topic, we need teamwork if we really want to finish our video accurately. But how will we know if teamwork is going on around us? For me, seeing that everybody is participating, suggesting and doing helpful stuff is a part of having teamwork, how important is teamwork? VERY IMPORTANT! To be honest. You can’t come up with something successful if you’re all by yourself, you need someone to talk to and to ask for some suggestions right? And doing those actions is teamwork. I just want to share this with you guys; I really had fun shooting for our video. I think I can say that we had teamwork that moment, because all of us tried to be more cooperative than usual. As a result, we only have to do few things for the finishing touch of the video. One more thing, let’s relate TEAMWORK with COMMUNICATION. Expand your thoughts; you can’t have teamwork if you won’t communicate. Communication itself is really powerful, important and sometimes should be used redundantly, it’s all part of our life, communicating and having teamwork. Both of them were important, so guys, “All for one! One for All!” J

WEEK 3: flashbaaack

Flashback on a SNAP!!

~snap~ snail mail, beeper, fax machines, telegraph, and huge phones are the things that pop up on my head when I think of something ancient way of communication (just to clarify, not so ancient). Well I asked my older relatives about those stuff and they told me that BEEPER, well im mot so sure if I understood it correct but they said that through it, you may send your message to other people by entering some codes, an operator will answer you then will connect you on phone then will let you say your message to your respective receiver. We still have an example of beeper here at home, it’s as big as a pack of cigarette with a one line screen on top of it with battery slots at the bottom, and I remembered that my uncle used it before when he was still having his previous job. I chose to emphasize the beeper because for me it is the closest thing to the cellphone nowadays. Then recently, email, internet, chatting, yahoo, facebook, cellphones etc. came along. The slower processes of communicating people instantly vanished. Everything happens with a snap, you can simply say HI to your friend who is very far from you, you can tell everything to anyone as you stay connected to the lifestyle that we have nowadays OOH POWER OF TECHNOLOGY..
I usually relate myself every time I make my blog entries every week and I can say that this topic affects me so much. Why? It’s just an eye opener for me that everything has changed, YES. It’s a big help for everyone that we can communicate to everyone we wanted to stay connected to, but isn’t it too harsh that because of these things people may end up damaged? DAMAGED because soon enough it is possible to happen that no one knows how to socialize personally and face to face? That everyone prefers to communicate virtually? That most of the people are fooling us behind our back unconsciously because we don’t even know who really they are? (NAHH!) anyway let’s go back to our main topic here, “ how does technology changed the way we communicate?” well, TECHNOLOGY  is powerful and COMMUNICATION is connected with it whatever we do. And I think that is how it transforms the way our communication was used to be. It goes beyond limits instantly, and for it’s result.. INSTANT communication. Yeah instant. Instant. Instant. That’s what people likes. Alright! Im getting redundant here already xD end here.. ~snap~

WEEK2: BLAH! BLAH! BLAH!

BLAH! BLAH! BLAH!
Less talk less, less mistake but communication is important for every individual and sometimes it is a necessity.. I don’t talk too much and I don’t communicate to others often but lately I realized that the more I remain silent behind is the more I will get bored of my life. I’m trying to be more expressive of my thoughts lately with my mom, my friends and other people I know but somehow I still found myself boring to talk with. Why? Because I’m ashamed of myself, I am not that confident every time I spoke with anyone, I’m conscious about my words and every statement I say and even with my actions. People get me wrong every time I just stare at them while I’m silent, all they don't know is that I’m just waiting for them to approach me and say something. I have to build up my confidence in speaking and I’m trying hard to achieve and survive from this shamefulness that I have.
But why do we have to strive hard just to communicate to others? It’s simple, it’s for our own good anyway, because the more we communicate, is the more we learn from others through asking or sharing our opinions and thoughts to anyone. (We) people are lucky because we all have our capacity to communicate in different ways unlike the other creatures that are hard to understand most of the time because of their disability in speaking vividly. We can freely say that we’re hungry, sad or happy to others, and that’s how communication helps us. But of course it’s not only through speaking but also through our actions and facial expressions. That’s how communication works.
I just hope you got my point through reading this blog, and this is my idea on “WHY COMMUNICATE?” ..

Gratuito, Lovely D.

DAY 2

June 18, 2012

Today, we presented our video presentations introducing ourselves showing hobbies, likes and dislikes. But then again, there are some students who were not capable on showing their videos to everyone because of some technical problems, honestly, I was included for those who were not able to present but of course, Ms. Kagaroan told us that we can re-do our homework and present it on our next meeting.

DAY 1

We met Ms. Kagaroan earlier for our Communication Technology subject, for the introduction, she let us know about the different elements of Multimedia which includes: words, images (photos and videos), sounds, effects/transitions (animation and scale). Then as for our homework, she required us to have a blogspot account, a 2-minute visual presentation to introduce ourselves on class and also a weekly requirement, an E-Journal.

WEEK 1: CAS is FUN!!

                                          CAS is Fun!

My first week of college life turn out well, I enjoyed every moment I spent with my new classmates and friends specially for those who belong to a same college department with me, (College of Arts and Sciences). The energy on that department was so high enough to caught my sleepy thoughts during that first week. We held our election last Thursday for the officers for the CAS. Most of us freshmen were silent during that election day but there were few who were not just like the higher levels who were so energetic and very natural on speaking. I just saw myself on them, jolly but natural individual, but of course as of now I still cant show myself just like how they show theirs, maybe it will take a lot of time for me to adjust, and honestly it was fun accompanying people like them.
I am very happy with my course (AB Multi-Media Arts) why? It's simple, because it's just my interest. I love seeing some digital animations and learn how to create my own, photographs and anything which involves art. I admire people who are good on that skill because I know there's still something on my skill that  I am still lacking and I want to figure it out through having this lovable course.

Welcome to my blog!

This is my first blog and I must admit that I find it a little bit confusing what and where to click. I am not that familiar into blogging but I believe that as time press on, I will get used to it. Maybe I am way too much into Facebook and Twitter alone. I guess this one will be a brand new exploration for me.

About getting into college, I am so thrilled that I am finally stepping into this world. My older sister just graduated and I can't believe that here I am, experiencing freshman college as she did several years ago. First day in school was a bit nervous for me. Well, I believe that people go through that process in every way. At least I was able to get through the day. I tried to get familiarized to the campus, university norms, and the people. I met some of my classmates but I still have to work on their names. Before, I used to think that college life is a whole different story for students but now I am able to notice that only few things are different.

Education is really important and I am thankful to God for giving me this opportunity to learn and enjoy life outside my comfort zone and I know for a fact that there are even more to learn. I am excited!

...If God is for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31)
